    Dear Sirs,

I am related to Patriarch Damianos I of Jerusalem. In 1950, my father and Grandfather were guests of the Patriarch at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

I have been researching the Patriarch for many years. I believe he may have been my grandfather’s uncle. Our family name was Nicoliedes. Do you have any recommendations for furthering my research? For example, names of parents and/or siblings or other unique identifiers. Thank you for any information you can provide.

I am also related to the Patriarchy. He comes from my mother’s side from Samos. My mother’s maiden name was Parianos. That’s all I know to help you.

I am Jim Zaferis’ cousin, Catherine Evarkiou. Our maternal grandmother, Christodouli Parianos’ maiden name was Kassiotou, the same as Patriarch Damianos’ given last name. The family hails originally from Kassos.
